Qualification prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience (As per DST OM SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30th January, 2019) as follows: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences OR Graduate (B.Tech./B.E.) /Post Graduate Degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Food Science/ Engineering/Technology/Microbial & Food Technology/ Biotechnology or equivalent professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility TestsCSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE b. The Selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Department and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
